Star Ratings

Verified users can now leave 1 to 5 star ratings. These ratings provide a fast and comparable signal of quality during discovery.

Written Reviews

Users will soon be able to submit moderated written reviews that include clinical context such as role, EHR, and organization size.

This gives future customers meaningful insight into how your app performs in real care environments, not just in a demo.


How to Encourage Customers to Leave Reviews

If customers are seeing value, invite them to share it and leave a review.

Here are simple and appropriate ways to increase participation:

  • Mentioning the review option after a successful onboarding, measurable outcome or workflow win
  • Sharing the Marketplace listing link during customer check-ins
  • Reach out directly to your strongest champions

The best time to ask is right after a positive experience.

Keep requests:

  • Neutral (do not ask for positive reviews specifically)
  • Voluntary (no incentives, rewards, or pressure)
  • Compliant with Vim Marketplace Policies

Do not offer compensation, discounts, or benefits in exchange for ratings or reviews.

Got a new review? Here’s how to reply

You can respond to approved end-user reviews in two ways:

Option 1: Reply directly from the email notification

  1. When a review is approved by the Vim team, a notification email will be sent to the network email address defined in your app manifest.
  2. Click the “Reply to review” button (CTA) in the email.
  3. You’ll be redirected to the Console to submit your response.

Option 2: Reply from the Developer Console

  1. Log in to the Console.
  2. Go to the Apps list.
  3. Click the action menu (⋯) on your app card.
  4. Select Ratings & Reviews.
  5. Reply to relevant review.

Responses should follow the Vim Applications Marketplace Ratings and Review Policy.

What happens next?

  • Your reply will be reviewed by the Vim Marketplace team
  • Once approved, your response will appear publicly on your app’s Marketplace page
  • The original reviewer will receive an email notification informing them of your reply
  • The reviewer will have the opportunity to update their rating or review if they choose
